The Exchange Boardroom & Event Center hosted its grand opening on Sept. 8, allowing community members to walk through, grab a bite to eat and enjoy the new spaces.
The center will bring additional space for birthdays, celebrations, baby and bridal showers, reunions, anniversary and graduation and corporate events after owners Tanner and Elizabeth Cline, purchased the building’s site in Summer 2021.
The spaces consist of an event room and a board room for rent.
Rental rates for the event room include charges of $75 per hour for weekdays and Sunday and $100 per hour for Saturday.
Elizabeth Cline said the larger event room is great for parties and corporate events.
The event room seats anywhere from 60 to 80 people around round tables, with a three hour minimum, and features a stage, projector and 125 inch screen.
The board room is $40 per hour and seats up to 14 people at a conference table. The board room is available for a two-hour minimum.
There are add on packages available for drinks and refreshments with the boardroom.
“We are delighted we were able to complete this renovation to restore the building,” Elizabeth Cline said. “(We) are excited to be apart of the Duncan Downtown District (and) our hope is that the community will enjoy the space as much as we do.”
