The Seattle Seahawks are in the midst of the worst season under head coach Pete Carroll. They are 5-10 and in last place of the NFC West. There has been talk about this being quarterback Russell Wilson’s last season in Seattle. There’s been chatter about Pete Carroll being on the hot seat. So many issues facing an organization that is moving in the wrong direction.

Marshawn Lynch sat down Tuesday night with Josina Anderson for an interview on “The Crew.” Lynch was asked about the current status of the team and if he thinks changes need to be made. According to Seattle Times staff reported Bob Condotta, Lynch believes in the organization’s leadership.

“They always playing the long game and I think just right now, every dog has their day and right now it’s probably just not their time. But if I know anything about Pete (Carroll) he is working to put some kind of a plan together.”

Amid the Seahawks struggles this season, former Seahawk Kam Chancellor tweeted “Me and Jody Allen need to have a discussion about the future of the seahawks. #JustSayin.” That prompted Anderson to ask Lynch if he could sit down with Jody Allen, what would he say.

Instead of talking about the team, he delved into the possibility of partial ownership of the team.

The former Seahawks running back also said "it's not far-fetched" for him to be a part-owner of the Seahawks one day. (via @bcondotta) https://t.co/xrlReGQSTN

“I’m trying to figure out how I can come in and be a part of some ownership so I can go ahead and make my staple on the Seattle community and team that way… Why not… It’s not that I’m trying to come in and buy a team, just trying to finesse my way in there any way possible.”

Lynch is already part owner of the Bay Area Panthers, an Indoor Football League team. He is also part owner of the Oakland Roots, a member of the United Soccer League.
