The International Swap and Derivatives Association (ISDA) worked with interior design studio Shaw Studios and furniture distributor Day2 Interiors to expand its office in One Bishop's Square and relocate it to Copthall Avenue/London Wall 25.
The new office must meet many criteria, including a more suitable floor, to better define the public access space and the private office environment. These facilities need to accommodate both visiting representatives and local staff, especially those who work longer hours.
In a space of 1,250 square meters, Day2 designated a large number of KI furniture to meet ISDA requirements. KI's Work2.1 sit-stand dual-purpose desks are integrated into the open work space as back-to-back benches for 2 or 4 people. Each bench has a white surface, a graphite gray edge finish and a dark gray bottom structure. These Work2.1 Sit-Stand desks are also used in cellular offices as single desks with return trips. The Athens SE column-based conference table further enhances these spaces.
In order to match the desk, a selection of white 800 series lockers and lockers are carefully arranged for easy access to documents and personal belongings.
Selected KI tables are also used throughout the venue: Scrum clamshell nesting tables increase the flexibility of new seminar/demonstration spaces by providing simple mobility; high-profile Athens SE cylindrical tables with a dome bring the waiting area Stylish and modern feel. The Athens SE table was also added to the rest space and booth for easier collaborative work, while the Work2 table with cantilevered lower structure was designated as the standard and posture height for larger meetings and formal spaces.
Finally, MFC flowerpots with graphite gray edges are placed on the top of the storage unit, adding some greenery and natural decoration to the open space.
Shaw Studios Director Ruth Bradshaw commented: "The project started during the lockdown, so all discussions are virtual-but KI is very good at coordinating everything and even producing custom projects at very discounted prices. These furniture are perfect for new offices. , And provides ISDA with the flexibility it needs to continue working safely and efficiently."
