Election day is quickly approaching, and Michigan voters will have the chance to decide between five candidates to fill two open seats for the Michigan Supreme Court this general election.

In interviews with MLive and Vote411.org, a voter guide created in partnership with MLive and the League of Women voters, these Supreme Court candidates revealed why they’re running for election, what issues they believe are facing the court system and how they’re separating themselves from partisan politics.
