Dezeen showroom: De Vorm's Twist stools are made of tubular steel frames, which facilitate stacking and are suitable for social spaces such as bars, restaurants and schools.
Twist stools come in three heights and occasionally provide seating for desks, counters and bars. It is light and stable, easy to stack and move.
The key is Twist's tubular frame, which has two horizontal supports under the seat to provide stability and grip when lifting during stacking.
When stacked, each stool is designed to be at a 90-degree angle to the stool below to maintain balance and inform the design name.
Twist also has a curved PET felt seat, made using newly developed pressing technology.
De Vorm said: “We managed to create seats with double curvature and different densities that fit the frame perfectly on one side and fit the human body best on the other side.”
Twist offers three standard heights, the seat can choose 11 kinds of PET felt mixture, and the frame can choose any RAL color. The seat can also be decorated with a variety of fabrics.
